Cookalo Terms of Use (with Advertiser Listings)

1. Who we are

Cookalo is operated by Totally Online Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@cookalo.com.

2. What we do

We provide a platform for independent chefs, instructors, and studios to promote their cooking classes. Cookalo does not own, run, or manage these experiences - we simply help people find them. When you book or attend a class, your agreement is directly with the provider.

3. For visitors

By using Cookalo, you agree to:

• use the site lawfully and respectfully;
• not scrape, copy, or reuse large parts of the content; and
• accept that information may change or contain minor inaccuracies.

We do our best to keep listings accurate, but details such as pricing, timing, or availability are controlled by each provider.

4. For advertisers and providers

If you list your business or purchase a featured placement:

• You confirm that all information, photos, and descriptions you provide are accurate and that you have permission to use them.
• You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date.
• You grant Cookalo a licence to display and promote your listing on the site, in search results, and in marketing materials.
• Featured listings or paid placements will always be clearly marked to comply with ASA and FTC transparency rules.

Payments and renewals

• Listing fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable once the listing is live, unless otherwise stated.
• If we offer recurring monthly or annual plans, you can cancel at any time. Your listing stays active until the end of the paid period.
• We may suspend or remove listings that breach these terms or contain misleading information.

5. Content & intellectual property

All site design, text, and branding belong to Cookalo.

Images and content supplied by providers remain their property.

If you believe something infringes your rights, contact us and we will respond quickly.

6. Accuracy & liability

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee:

• continuous availability,
• complete accuracy of listings, or
• the quality, safety, or delivery of any class.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to any user or advertiser will not exceed the amount paid to us in the previous 12 months.

7. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Some listings or links may include affiliate arrangements. We always label paid or sponsored placements clearly as Featured or Sponsored.

8. Removal of content

We may remove or edit any listing that violates our terms, is inappropriate, or appears inactive. We will normally notify the account holder first.

9. Links to other websites

External links are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse third-party content and cannot be responsible for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. The revised version takes effect as soon as it is posted here.
